Form, Fabrication & Experience
Theme: Materiality · Making · Spatial Narratives · Human Interaction
These projects collectively explore making as a process of storytelling where materials, form and construction methods become tools to evoke emotion and engagement. Rooted in hands-on fabrication, each work investigates how structural logic, material behavior and assembly techniques can shape spatial experiences beyond static objects.
Through installations and furniture-scale interventions, the projects examine the relationship between human interaction and crafted form, emphasizing experimentation, collaboration and the translation of conceptual ideas into tangible, inhabitable outcomes.

Furniture Design
The Leisure Table explores space-saving and portability in furniture design, drawing inspiration from Japanese principles of minimalism and efficiency. Crafted from pine wood and rexine leather, the design focuses on balancing functionality, ergonomics and material selection.
The furniture system consists of two tables with seating for four users, designed as a compact, mobile unit. Integrated wheels enhance portability, while the nested configuration allows efficient storage when not in use. Through this project, I examined furniture styling, user comfort, manufacturing considerations and practical detailing to create a versatile solution for limited spaces.

Installation Design
Leafbrella is an installation inspired by the organic symmetry and structural logic of a leaf. The design consists of a metal rod framework forming the skeletal structure, overlaid with a translucent plastic skin that highlights the form while maintaining lightness.
The project served as a hands-on exploration of fabrication techniques, including metal bending, welding, and surface shaping. Through the construction process, I gained practical insight into material behavior, structural stability, and precision in execution, reinforcing the relationship between conceptual form and technical detailing in installation design.

Installation Design
It is a collaborative installation project inspired by the fluidity of waves, conceived as a symbol of simplicity and organic growth. The chandelier was designed and constructed using bamboo as the primary material, complemented by ropes, rods and metal joinery to achieve a balance between structural stability and visual lightness.
Installed in the college canteen of The Design Village, Noida which is a high-traffic communal space with generous vertical volume, the piece was strategically positioned to enhance spatial engagement and encourage interaction. The project emphasized material exploration, assembly techniques, and spatial responsiveness, strengthening my understanding of how installations can influence atmosphere and user experience in shared environments.
